With the music festival season in full effect, Atlanta’s Music Midtown released its yearly lineup after much anticipation and fanfare. Taking place the weekend of September 15 + 16 of 2018 in beautiful Piedmont Park, this year’s lineup is a mixture of top artists within several genres that’s bound to please festival-goers of all types.
Hotlanta homegrown hip-hop hero Big Boi has always been one with a tendency for the odd and the flashy. Naturally, Boi being Boi, ending out his Daddy Fat Saxxx Tour at his sweltering hot stomping grounds would surely play out as an evening as cool as a polar bear’s toenail. Long story short, mission accomplished!
Come Tomorrow arrives at a time of need for balance and soothing simplistic stories that drift us away from the feather ruffling of everyday Hollywood and politics. Not that there is anything simple about Dave Matthews and his mates, but their complex sound does calm and bring smiles to those willing to delve in.
The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience is just another MASSIVE reason to pack some bags and get out to The Big Easy. That’s right, 2018 is coming up all New Orleans, all Voodoo Fest! Reading this year’s lineup is one of those jaw-dropping moments that define your plans months ahead of time.
In the end, Poison is a bucket-list add-on for anyone that’s yet to witness their grandiose stylings, and a do-over for any diehard that relishes in the good times. We won’t tell you that Poison puts on the greatest show on Earth, but if you believe that, we won’t argue with you either.
The POND gang serviced onlookers with abundant space-inspired hooks, wild and weird lead-singer antics, and just a let-loose dosage of good old-fashioned fun. POND is, most definitely, one act to catch on the live circuit.
Hey Atlanta, did you read the good news? Yes, ONE MusicFest, A-Town’s premier hip-hop celebration, has announced its lineup for the forthcoming event, and man, it is astounding.
