Festival Preview: Music Midtown

With the music festival season in full effect, Atlanta’s Music Midtown released its yearly lineup after much anticipation and fanfare. Taking place the weekend of September 15 + 16 of 2018 in beautiful Piedmont Park, this year’s lineup is a mixture of top artists within several genres that’s bound to please festival-goers of all types. Leading the festivities are hip-hop juggernaut Kendrick Lamar, pop-rock titans Imagine Dragons, trap superstar Post Malone, and notorious pop-punk outfit Fall Out Boy.

While the headliners are an enticing blend of musical styles and enough to pique the interest of aficionados, no festival is complete without a strong and diverse under-card. That being said, Music Midtown made sure to run the gamut and include artists from all corners of the industry. Among the heavy-hitters complimenting the headlining foursome are, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Khalid, Janelle Monáe, Portugal. The Man, Sylvan Esso, Foster the People, Chromeo, and many, many more.

Now, Atlantans, it’s time to do what any reasonable music fanatic would do, plan ahead. Be sure to clear your calendar, buy your tickets, plan your visit, and be ready to submerge in the beauty that is Atlanta’s Music Midtown Festival. We hope to see you there. Cheers!
