For the ninth time the Shaky Knees Festival crew ran a memorable party. Thousands upon thousands of fans flocked to Atlanta’s Central Park over the 3-day festivities to catch glimpses and party hard with some of their favorite musical acts. While the wait to the next go-round has just begun, we can go down our top 5 acts of the festival (matter of opinion) and a look back as to what Shaky Knees had in store for us in 2022. Without further ado, our Top 5 Shaky Acts were:
5.- Dirty Honey.- Way to keep classic rock alive. The look is over the top and the music is straight out of yesteryear’s coolness. The rockstar idiosyncrasies by the ton, simply a pleasure to watch.
4.- Grandson.- One to watch. The energy was through the roof. Plus, stopping the show to help a fan in need is always cool.
3.- Khruangbin.- I mean, come on!!! Those covers of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and many more were just magical.
2.- Nine Inch Nails.- Legacy! No need to even explain why it was an insane show.
1.- Amyl and The Sniffers.- If you know, you know. No one parties as hard as Amy Taylor. Fucking goddess.
While picking a top 5 is not an easy feat, we want to send shout outs and honorable mentions to Reignwolf, PUP, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Mannequin Pussy and Biffy Clyro for their stellar collective showmanship. Trust us, it was not easy leaving them off this list. Lastly, here is a gallery to look back. Enjoy.
