An underrated takeaway from a Pitbull show is how a Generation X performer can bring together all age demographics. At any given sight you may see a senior citizen clapping along and standing besides tik-toking Millennials and Generation Z-ers, while middle-aged fans dance to the tunes along the background. It truly is a come one, come all experience.
My Chemical Romance – Live @ Ameris Bank Amphitheatre
My Chemical Romance is back, back in Atlanta, back in the spotlight. Glad to have you back. We have missed you, sunshine.
Ghost — Live @ Gas South District Arena
Ghost is simply amazing, visually and musically complex, and ridiculously astounding on that stage. Ultimately, onlookers were served roughly 20 tracks, a world-class devilish symphony, and an endless supply of sacrilegious jubilation — for that ride home.
Daddy Yankee — Live @ State Farm Arena
It proves to be a night of nights. Nostalgic, sad, special, insane, colorful, lively and bumping. From top of the line displays and strobes to the giant inflatable Daddy Yankee doll, Ramón Ayala Rodriguez is a gentleman of the stage. The outfit switches, the array of performance dances, the nonstop singalongs from a heightened crowd only add fuel to the fire of each passing anthem. Ya'know, like gasolina.
Red Hot Chili Peppers — Live @ Truist Park
Going on nearly 40 years of career, Red Hot Chili Peppers seem eager to please. Seemingly, the quartet want you to feel the music the same way they do.
Photo Gallery: Coheed & Cambria – Live @ Coca-Cola Roxy
The Claudio Sanchez-led foursome once again blew minds, caused a fun type of chaos and blew the roof off with their powerful presentation.
Mix Tape Tour – Live @ State Farm Arena
The Mixtape Tour spectacle is never gonna let you down, it has got the right stuff, a couple of hours to free your mind and shoop shoop ba-doop off your seat.
Denzel Curry – Live @ The Tabernacle
Rambunctious crowds, mosh pits, backdrop graphics and raging anthems. What do all these things have in common? Having released his highly awaited fifth LP, Melt My Eyez See Your Future, earlier this year, Curry embarked on... Continue Reading →
Gogol Bordello – Live @ Iron City Birmingham
Gogol Bordello razzle and dazzles during their set. It is a party; a fun one, a conscious one, a danceable one and a hopeful one. The Gogol Bordello seven do not cheat you, there are no corners cut or mediocre instances; all the more impressive once known that they are performing with heavy hearts.
Jawbreaker – Live @ The Tabernacle
Now in their fifties, the Jawbreaker triad seemed at ease with their showmanship. Nothing flashy or outlandish, just sheer musicianship and giant backdrop banner spelling out the moniker. The body language more relaxed-dads than rebellious-twenty-somethings, naturally; however, sporadically, flashes of yesteryear passions would take over.
